About Morisset

About Morisset

The Central Coast has been earmarked by the NSW Government for $4 billion of infrastructure investment. Located in the Central Coast/Lower Hunter area partway between Sydney and Newcastle, Morisset has been designated as an “Emerging Major Centre” on the lower Hunter and Central Coast boundary area and is certain to be a key beneficiary.

The NSW Central Coast Regional Strategy is expected to spawn 100,000 more people, 56,000 new homes and 45,000+ new jobs in 7 Town Centres (of which Morisset is one).

It is a part of a “…major employment node being planned…which will capitalise on its location in the heart of the Sydney to Newcastle corridor” and generate capacity for up to 6,000 new jobs”.
